CPU, Switch Sports Wiki
CPUs are present mainly when playing in Local Mode on Nintendo Switch Sports. Unlike previous Wii Sports games, where the difficulty increases the more you earn skill points, you can choose between Normal, Strong, and Powerhouse for each sport. They sometimes randomly appear to fill in the gap in case another player takes too long to join the game. They also show up during the first match a player plays in a sport in Play Globally, in part to provide more time to get through the sport's tutorial
