Sake
La bevanda nazionale del Giappone, il sake, è una bevanda a base di riso fermentato che viene prodotta utilizzando riso sakamai altamente levigato, acqua, uno stampo chiamato Aspergillus oryzae e lievito. I sake pregiati vengono invecchiati per un anno o più e la maggior parte delle variazioni ha un contenuto alcolico in volume compreso tra il 15% e il 20% di alcol.
