Here are a couple of new studies in Gouache paint. For those unfamiliar with Gouache, it is a water-based paintbut unlike transparent watercolor, it is opaque. You can layer it on thickly like oil paint, but it dries with a flat look to the color. Anyway, long explanationbut fun to try different mediums! Each of these paintings is 5 x 5 on cold-press illustration board. They are sold unframed, but I show examples of each in a simple white frame. See the example images for a cool clean look.
