The Pilot Custom 823 fountain pen in Amber is a unique alternative to the everyday user-grade fountain pen. The pump filling system creates a vacuum on the downstroke filling the barrel about 2/3 full of ink similar in function to the Sheaffer pens of the 1930's. For best results follow the instructions on the label on the cap. The smoky transparent amber cap and barrel are accented with gold trim and the 14k nib is extremely smooth and offers a wonderful writing experience.
