A unidirectional Mid mic focuses on sound directly in front while a bi-directional Side mic captures left and right. Adjust the level of the Side mic to control stereo width—even after recording. For extra versatility, use Mid-Side with the X/Y mics to create stunning 360-degree surround sound.
