(AMZN) — which also owns Whole Foods — is expanding its online grocery delivery service, Fresh, to which Forrester Research Retail Analyst Sucharita Kodali believes that the online retailer is still thriving primarily in non-perishable and non-food items. The US online grocery market is forecasted to be valued at $243 billion by 2025. Kodali notes to Yahoo Finance that online fresh grocery sales are an “under-penetrated category” and sees room for growth in this market.
