Country Barley Miso is dark in color with a deep, rich and slightly sweet flavor Traditionally produced barley miso, aka mugi miso, is a rich, savory miso aged for a minimum of one year in traditionaly wooden barrels. Aged 1 Year * Our organic, kosher, non-GMO, vegan, unpasteurized miso paste is produced traditionally without the use of fermentation accelerants such as yeast or applied heat.   Barley miso is good for 18 about months when refrigerated Miso Master Organic has been handcrafting tradtional, organic Japanese-style miso in North Carolina since 1979.
